
Advanced Open Water Course
The Advanced Open Water Diver course is the next step after the Open Water Diver course, designed to enhance your diving skills and introduce you to new and exciting types of diving. You will improve your navigation, buoyancy, and deep diving techniques, while also having the opportunity to try out three specialty dives of your choice.
Course Plan:
1- Self-study online (through the PADI Learning Portal)
2- Practical Sessions: The course includes five open water dives, including:
- Two mandatory dives: Deep dive and navigation dive.
- Three elective dives: Choose from options such as Digital Underwater Photography, Dive Against Debris, Enriched Air Nitrox, Fish Identification, Night Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Search & Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Wreck Diving, and more.
Key Topics Covered:
- Deep diving (up to 30 meters).
- Improving buoyancy control.
- Underwater navigation using a compass.
- Specialty dives such as night diving, underwater photography, wreck diving, etc.
Course Duration:
You can complete the course in 2-3 days.
Eligibility:
Age: 12 years or older.
Certification: PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent.
Swimming ability: Comfort and confidence in the water.
After completing the Advanced Open Water Diver course, you’ll be qualified to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters and will have the skills to tailor your underwater adventures to your interests. It also opens up the possibility to pursue further specialty certifications.
