Rescue Diver Course

The Rescue Diver course is an exciting and challenging program designed to enhance your diving skills and teach you how to effectively manage emergency situations underwater. You'll learn how to rescue other divers in distress and become more confident and aware of safety in all aspects of diving.

Course Plan:

1- Self-study online (through the PADI Learning Portal)  
2- Practical Sessions: The course includes both confined water and open water training sessions, with a focus on rescue skills and problem-solving underwater.

  • Identifying potential risks and how to avoid them. 
  • Learning how to handle emergency situations.  
  • Practicing rescues, such as assisting an unconscious diver, handling a tired or injured diver, and managing distressed divers.

  • Recognizing warning signs of distressed divers.
  • Assisting an unconscious diver underwater.
  • Handling injured or tired divers.
  • Techniques for bringing an injured diver to the surface.
  • Administering first aid and CPR for divers.

Course Duration: 

The course typically takes 3-4 days to complete, with a mix of theoretical lessons and practical open water sessions.

Eligibility:

 Age: 12 years or older.
Certification: PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Adventure Diver, or PADI Junior Adventure Diver* (or qualifying certification) with a completed *Underwater Navigation Dive*.


- Prerequisite: Proof of current Emergency First Response (EFR) Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training, or equivalent, within the last 24 months.

After completing the Rescue Diver course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergencies.

It’s also a great stepping stone toward more advanced courses, such as the Divemaster program.
